Travel 32 kilometres from Swakopmund to Walvis Bay on the B2.
Leave Walvis Bay on the C14 minor road - at the traffic circle right at the entrance to the town, keep to the left, past the Flamingo Ponds and the Airport.
Travel for 234 kilometres on the C14 to Solitaire.
Turn right at the C19 Sossusvlei intersection (T-junction). There is a garage, shop and toilet facilities on the right-hand side of the road here. It is recommended that you fill your vehicle up with petrol at this point.
Continue on the C19 from Solitaire (turn out right from the garage road) for a further 71,3 kilometres.
At the D826 Sossusvlei Lodge/Sesriem intersection (T-junction), turn right and travel for 12 kilometres. The gate to Sossusvlei Lodge is on the right-hand side of the road.
