Indoor Conferencing Rates
Rates valid until 31 October 2008
Modern indoor facility for a maximum of 100 persons. Seating arrangement possible in various shapes with rectangular and trapezoid tables.
The facility features climate control, individually switched combination lighting, tiled floors, retractable screen and blinds.

The above rates include the following :
- Dinner, Bed & Breakfast - accommodation, buffet dinner and breakfast
- Activities - one activity per person per two day conference/seminar (choice of sunrise/sunset drive or eco-quad biking)
- A Free Bush Dinner - for every 3-day conference (indoor, outdoor or combination)
- Mid-Morning Tea - tea/coffee with pastries or sandwiches
- Lunch - buffet lunch
- Afternoon Tea - tea/coffee with biscuits
- Conference Room - conference room venue
- Equipment - overhead projector, screen, flipchart with pens, white board with pens, TV, VCR, DVD, PA System/Mic (breakage/damage to all equipment will be charged)
- Cordials - chilled tap water and mints
The half-day conference package includes all of the above with the exception of the afternoon tea break.
Additional Extras (on own account) :
- Data Projector (Litepro) - N$ 400.00 per day
- Telephone Hire - normal call rate per call (via satellite link)
- Internet Access - normal call rate per call (via satellite link)
- Facsimile - N$ 15.00 per page local, N$ 20.00 per page foreign (via satellite link)
- Photocopying - N$ 1.50 per copy
The half-day conference package includes all of the above except for the afternoon tea break.
Breakaway Rooms
We offer one breakaway room plus 2 breakaway 'tents' and one breakaway pergola.

The above rates include the following :

- Afternoon Tea - tea/coffee with biscuits
- Equipment - flipchart with pens, white board with pens (breakage/damage to all equipment will be charged)
This venue is within an easy 10 minute walk from the Lodge. No transfers are included. Other outdoor venues are on request and transfer rates apply.
The half-day outdoor conference package includes all of the above with the exception of the afternoon tea break.
Spouses

As an added special on the already discounted package deal we offer accommodation to your spouse at no additional charge!
A spouse sharing the twin/double room with a conference attendee qualifies for free accommodation!
All meals, activities and expenses of a personal nature are to their own account.
General
Meals
Lunch is served buffet style in the main restaurant at Sossusvlei Lodge from 12H00 to 14H30. Finger lunches and other arrangements on request. Meals at Desert Camp on request.
Beverages
All beverages are charged for on consumption to the master account or room charge per person.
Smoking
Kindly note that all indoor venues are smoke-free zones, unless otherwise specified. In the outdoors, at own discretion with unlimited fresh air for all. Ashtrays are provided.
Check-In And Check-Out Times
Check-in is at 14H00 and checkout time is 10H00. Should you wish to make use of our facilities before or after these times, please specify your needs on application. Normal full day or ½ day conference package rates apply.
We will gladly store your luggage in the interim. Should the need for additional conference time arise during your stay, please arrange this with the Duty Manager at least a day in advance.
Conferencing At

Stay at Desert Camp and Conference at Sossusvlei Lodge.
Desert Camp does not offer indoor conferencing facilities. Persons staying at Desert Camp make use of the nearby
Sossusvlei Lodge conferencing facilities. The distance between the two establishments is 5 kilometres.
Outdoor conferencing can be arranged at Desert Camp for groups booking the entire facility.
Other outdoor conferencing within walking distance or within walking distance from Sossusvlei Lodge.

Both these Full Day and Half Day Conference Packages for persons staying at Desert Camp
include the same services and facilities as listed above for Sossusvlei Lodge.
One exception, for the Half Day Conference it is either a breakfast or a Dinner included,
depending on Morning Half Day or Afternoon Half Day.
Transfers between Desert Camp and Sossusvlei Lodge in attendees own vehicles.
Adventure Centre transfers are on request and charged at N$35.00 per person
per return transfer, minimum 6 persons, maximum 10 persons per vehicle.
